Building for people and digital workers, together

Most of what gets written about artificial intelligence is either a promise or a warning. Very little of it is about the ordinary work of making something dependable enough that a person would put their business on it. That ordinary work is what GlobSynk does.

The direction

We think the next decade of work is not people replaced by software, and not software kept at arm's length. It is people and digital workers operating in the same organization, on the same tasks, with clear boundaries about who is responsible for what. That arrangement needs infrastructure that is still emerging: identity that covers both, records that hold up when someone asks what happened, and authority that is decided by the system rather than claimed by whoever is asking.

Building that is slower than building demonstrations. We have chosen the slower thing.

Practical, not promotional

We would rather ship a narrow capability that works every time than a broad one that works in a demonstration. When something is not ready, we prefer to say so. When a system cannot answer a question safely, we would rather it declined than guessed — a wrong answer delivered confidently is worse than no answer at all.

Who it is for

The same platform should be useful to one person working alone and to an organization with real compliance obligations. Those are genuinely different needs, and pretending otherwise produces tools that serve neither well. We build so the smaller case is never an afterthought and the larger case is never bolted on.

How we build

A few commitments shape the engineering more than anything else we could write here.

• Authority is decided by the server, never asserted by the browser.
• Systems fail closed. An outage becomes an honest error, never a silent default or an empty screen pretending to be an answer.
• Existing capability is preserved rather than quietly removed when it looks unused.
• Accessibility and mobile are the default case, not a later pass.
• The platform is built to work in many languages, for people who do not work in English.
